Paul informs him that he has received his letter of 17 November and that he is sending him the card to show him the view from the hotel at which he is staying. The card bears a postage stamp, mail service rubber stamps (Hyères) and recipient details (the word Egypt has been crossed out in red ink and another phrase has been written in its place in French, probably by C.
