Two copies of a poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ2). The title C. P. Cavafy's Poems (1916-1918) on the cover and title page. The collection contains twenty-eight poems and cosists of bound broadsheets, printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1926-1929. Table of contents on the recto of the last sheet. The verso of all sheets is blank. The sheets are numbered sequentially (2 to 30) at top right of the recto, usually in print but occasionally corrected by Cavafy. The poems are printed on papers of various qualites and with fonts of various sizes. On the title page of the first copy, handwritten dedication by the poet to Tellos Agras. Cancellation and emendation by Cavafy in the poem To Pleasure. Handwritten notes in pencil on the cover, underlinings and notes in the poems, some with references to publications by Dimaras, handwritten by Agras. The sheets have
