High-Resolution Datasets for Heat Vulnerability Assessment in High-Density Urban Areas of the Netherlands Dataset

OVERVIEW:
- This repository contains datasets for calculating the daily maximum Urban Heat Island (UHImax) effect across Dutch urban areas. The methodology is based on the diagnostic equation developed by Theeuwes et al. (2017) for northwestern European cities. The datasets focus on municipalities with population densities exceeding 1,000 people per km².
- To support reproducibility, we provide detailed documentation that enable researchers to generate UHImax datasets for time periods other than 2023 (refer to the README.md for detailed documentation).

2) Sky View Factor (SVF) Dataset- Format: GeoTIFF- Resolution: 5m- Value Range: 0-1 (0: completely obstructed; 1: completely unobstructed)- NoData Value: NA- Temporal Coverage: 2020-2022
