The dataset contains the data used in the analysis for the discussion paper published in the journal Biogeosciences titled "Sources and Transformations of Anthropogenic Nitrogen along an Urban River-Estuarine Continuum." This data is based on water samples collected from the Potomac River Estuary from 2010-2011. Water samples were analyzed for carbon and nitrogen concentrations and nitrate stable isotopes.
